- What are you excited about for this school and our youth?
I believe charter schools have their place in communities. That they are best used for special cases such as English as a second language, emotionally challenged, academically challenged, students that have been held back and/or struggling with mainstream education, etc. But in most cases charters should be for temporary reasons to provide extra support and resources to get children up to par and able to overcome the struggles that placed them there. I strongly feel charter schools are great for offering our students capability to have the option to reintegrate or enter public school environments.
We believe every child, every person, deserves to know the truth about their ancestors and what makes them, them. We also believe it is paramount that they be able to learn in a safe, caring, and collaborative seamless flow between them and their questions, and those that have lived the truth and have access to the historical stories that are handed down to them and verified in order to benefit a child’s life-long successes.

Monica Hinton and her campaign committee want to thank you for the endorsement of her abilities, capabilities, professionalism, and passion to bring innovative resourceful educational tools to children here in CVUSD Area 4, and CVUSD as whole. Then as these systems prove beneficial to share them globally. That is our goal as a team, with Monica Hinton on your Board as Trustee.
And yes, we agree she is a true advocate of mental health and education!
Her work in the field is evident in its quality as she is approached by her community locally and abroad to give her wisdoms as viable, effective solutions during these times of unprecedented and precedented challenges that need evolved and innovative current solutions relevant to these times.
I would like to restate that the using of what has worked as foundation cornerstones to build what needs to be new to achieve sustainable education services as a collective CVUSD community collective for the greater good and greatest place to have your children in school at!
